Flaming Star - Elvis Presley plays a half-breed American involved in a conflict between Texan settlers and the Kiowa tribe, with \'the Pelvis\' shooting from the hip more times than breaking into musical numbers, but carrying off his non-melodic role with great panache. Wild In The Country - Elvis appears in one of his better films here as a country boy who is saved from a life of delinquency and crime by a female social worker, who encourages him in his writing talent.
